Plans, usage, and limits

HaloDesk uses a simple, usage-based pricing model designed to keep things predictable as you scale.

There is one core plan, with optional add-ons if you need more capacity.

HaloDesk plan overview

HaloDesk currently offers one plan that includes:

  • Unlimited AI agents

  • Unlimited team members

  • Access to all features and integrations

  • A monthly AI message limit of 10,000 messages

  • Storage limits for knowledge bases - 10MB per agent, 50MB per organization

This keeps pricing simple while letting you scale usage as needed.

AI message limits

Your plan includes 10,000 AI messages per month.

Important details:

  • Only messages sent by AI agents count

  • Human replies sent from the Inbox do not count

  • Messages reset on the first day of each month

This ensures testing and human support don’t affect your usage.

What counts as an AI message

An AI message is counted when:

  • The AI sends a response to a real website visitor

Messages are not counted when:

  • You test in the Playground

  • A human replies to a ticket

  • Internal notes are created

Storage limits

Storage is used by:

  • Crawled website pages

  • Uploaded files (PDFs)

  • Text snippets

Limits apply:

  • Per agent

  • Across the entire organization

If you reach a storage limit, you’ll need to remove sources or purchase additional storage.

Add-ons and upgrades

If you exceed your plan limits, you can:

  • Purchase additional AI messages

  • Purchase additional storage

Add-ons apply immediately and do not affect your existing setup.

Viewing usage and billing

From the Billing and Usage sections, you can:

  • See current message usage

  • Track storage usage

  • Review invoices

  • Manage add-ons

Best practices

  • Monitor usage during your first month

  • Optimize training to reduce unnecessary AI replies

  • Use analytics to improve AI resolution rates
